The Colchester Bakery was founded in 1947 by the Gadle Family and has been under the
same management for over 50 years! Colchester breads are baked just as they were at
the beginning, in a large wood-burning brick oven, giving the pumpernickel and rye breads
their distinct hard crusts and great flavor.
Breads are made with no preservatives and all are low in fat.
